For once, I’ve gotten a week’s head start on planning for a challenge. So far, there’s a Plan A and a Plan B brewing for next week’s Art Challenge. I am considering two options for the same garment and which I choose depends on how fast the fabric for one arrives (UPS tracking says tomorrow’s the day).

Below are some notes on my first inspiration for the Art Challenge: Van Gogh. He and I go way back to my 2005 honeymoon in Amsterdam where I visited their museum in his honor. It was there I grew a fondness for the tortured, Dutch painter’s work.
